Hi HD,

Here is a good step by step guide;

How To Add MOH to ICD Caller in Queue

From this nice doc;

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/custcosw/ps1846/products_configuration_example09186a0080159eb5.shtml

Hope this helps!

Thanks for your help

I have problem with callmanager

- in callmanager, i find MOH server and find nothing. I create new MOH server, but nothing in drop-down menu near "Host Server*"

Maybe MOH is not install, but i did not have MOH disk in my package, is it free for download ?

And one thing with ICD: I need all agent when logged must have state "ready"

Hope you can help.

Hi HD,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Here is some additional information;

Music On Hold

From this good doc;

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/products_administration_guide_chapter09186a00803f3a9f.html#wp59089

You may install the Cisco CallManager Music On Hold Disk that **ships with your Cisco IP Telephony Applications Server, or you may download one of two following files via the web:

ciscocm-MusicOnHold, which is a set of wav files providing the entire music selection from the disk

ciscocm-MusicOnHoldSampler, which is a small set of files offering a sample of music available on the disk

** I just looked and these files can be found at the attached link with CCO Login (Right down towards the bottom of the page)**

http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/callmgr-33

As far as your last question, maybe you are looking for the setting "Auto Available" for Agents. Check out Chapter 17- Page 15;

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/voice/sw_ap_to/apps_3_5/english/admn_app/apadm35.pdf

Hope this helps!

Re: ICD Agent State- Music On Hold

Thanks, Rob

I am downloading ciscocm-MusicOnHold, as i understand: it is the Music On Hold Server Installation file.

With "Auto Available" where you show me, it take all agent to available after call. But my need is: agent state is always ready

- Auto Ready after they logged in (not solved yet)

- Auto Ready after they finish call (I solve this by add new rule in work flow)

Re: ICD Agent State- Music On Hold

Hi Rob,

I have problem with Musci On Hold Install

I downloaded file ciscocm-MusicOnHold.3-1.exe(236.72MB)

When i run this file to install, i see this "Program too big to fit in memory"

My server have 2GB Ram

What problem is it?

Re: ICD Agent State- Music On Hold

I have redownload file ciscocm-MusicOnHold.3-1.exe and unziped it.

But it contain only .wav file.

I think you don't understand my problem

In Callmanager, when i add Music On Hold Server,in "host server" field i have nothing to select.

All services in callmanager is activated.

I think i need install some program to support Music On Hold

Hope you can help.

Re: ICD Agent State- Music On Hold

Hi HD,

Have you followed this process?

Music On Hold Audio Sources

An MOH audio translator service converts administrator-supplied audio sources to the proper format for the music on hold server to use. The audio translator uses two parameters, an input directory and an output directory. You can configure the input directory, which defaults to C:\Program Files\Cisco\MOH\DropMOHAudioSourceFilesHere, on a per-service basis. The output directory, a clusterwide parameter, contains a Universal Naming Convention (UNC) name to a shared directory on the default MOH TFTP directory. For whatever directory is specified, append \MOH.

When the administrator drops an audio source file into the input directory, the MOH Audio Translator processes the file and then moves it into the output directory along with any files that are generated. Cisco CallManager supports most audio source file formats as input sources, including wav and mp3 files. After the input audio source is converted, an audio source file exists for each codec type that the music on hold server supports. Supply the highest quality source that is available.

Hope this helps!

Do you know if Cisco still has the Music On Hold download available?  I am unable to locate it today.
