ICM 7.2(7) scripting: push the call to a voice mail number based on timeinQ

Hi all,

I try to get the time in queue of the call and push the call to voice mail number.

The scenario is:

1. call coming

2. all agent busy

3. call comes to queuing with a queuing music ( the song is 3 minute)

I want to check the call if it is in queue for 40 seconds, I will push it to voice mail (a label will return). But the problem with me is:

1. The IF node for Call.TimeInQueue check is not interuptible. It will check the time in queue only if the queuing music end up.

How can I interupt the call with time in queue is 40s? I think about decrease the queuing music time to 40s but it is not the good idea because later customer will manage to change to 20s or 30s.

Regards,

Thanh

There is no other way.

Split the music file into two parts - one 40s, one 2m 20s (you can do this with Windows Sound Recorder quite simply).

Now play the 40s - then return the label.

We all do it this way - best to go with the flow.

Regards,

Geoff
