ICM Scripting and CVP scripting

 Hi All,

I have few doubts regarding the Cisco ICM and CVP scripting.

 

ICM Scripting :

1. How the Admin and Routing script are linked.

2. How to create opening / closing office hour check in Admin script and link to the Routing script.

 

CVP Scripting:

1. Suppose a new prompt is given and asked to change in the particular node in the call flow , what are the changes to be done in ICM and CVP scripting ( Call Tree ).

 This might be a thing which was already discussed but your help now is highly appreciated.

1. How the Admin and Routing

1. How the Admin and Routing script are linked.

They are not really. The admin script will update an ecc variable. The routing script will then reference this variable to make routing decisions.

2. How to create opening / closing office hour check in Admin script and link to the Routing script.

Create an admin script which checks what time is it and checks if it's >  800 AM and < 500 PM, then set a variable to 1 or 0.

CVP Scripting:

1. Suppose a new prompt is given and asked to change in the particular node in the call flow , what are the changes to be done in ICM and CVP scripting ( Call Tree ).

If it's just a new prompt, just replace the prompt in the media server.
