A customer needs to create an offline database that will, as a first step, copy all the data in the historical database HDS (as well as AWDB that contains views to HDS) to another database. As a second step, this database should everyday retrieve the new data and copy them. This database will grow in size and is not supposed to have a limit.
This way, users will be able to retrieve old data as well as huge report without affecting the live database.
In order to perform this, the below actions should be performed on the ICM server:
Creating windows accounts for replication
Setting database permissions
Publishing data using transactional replication
Creating a subscription to the transactional replication
Can those steps be applied safely on the AW machine? Or maybe there's a recommendation from Cisco not to do so.
