installing MS Office Outlook on ICM servers

Hello,

Is it recommended to install Microsoft Office 2010 on all ICM servers?

The purpose is to configure an email profile on the servers and SQL would automatically send an email on the completion of backup jobs.

Thanks,

Justine.

Justine,

That is not something a routine practice & I am almost sure it is NOT supported. It might work without any issue but TAC might object to that & will seize support unless uninstalled. Moreover, ICM BoM guide doesnt list it under Supported 3rd Party application, hence it can be presumed unsupported.
