IPCC 4.0(4) / extension mobility

We have a case where we have setup a device profile and would like to login into multiple devices simultaneously. I know that extension mobility support this. We have done it successfully, but it seems that after a short while if we power off the wireless phone (7920) that were using we notice that the 7941 that is the only deviced using the profile can not go 'Ready' in the Agent Desktop and we are getting an error that there is no device associated with this extension. But, if we power the 7920 back up we can go 'Ready'. It appears that the 7920 is some how taking ownership of the device profile and not letting the 7941 have ownership of the profile even if it's the only device logged into the profile. Yes, we have confirmed that both devices are associated with the RmCm User.

Has anyone had any experience with you using multiple devices with IPCC and extension mobility. Both logging into multiple devices simultaneously and/or just logging into one device at a time.

Thanks,

Doug

Not supported. One of the devices will be controlled by IPCC Express, but all sorts of wierd things start happening. Like the controlled phone won't ring, but another one will. Reports are messed up.

One device at a time is fine. And I would strongly consider disabling mutliple logins for EM because it will only cause problems for your call center.

But what are you trying to do? Have roaming agents? Broadcast hunt group type of ring?

They want to be able to have more mobility and be logged into the phone and the 7920 at the same time so they can take a call from either at anytime.

Thanks.
