IPCC D[now] format help

Hello all,

I am trying to do a simple if D[now] == D[12/29/08] then do x else do y but it is always doing y. x never matches todays date. what is the format of getting D[now]?

Re: IPCC D[now] format help

John, per our discussion, dump the value of D[now] into a string variable and use the debugger to catch the output.

The bigger question is why this worked last year, this routine is only used during the holiday period), but doesn't work this year.

Anyone know why the test:

D[now] == D[today's date in mm/dd/yyyy format here]

would work last year, but doesn't work this year? The server is still set to the same regional settings.

Re: IPCC D[now] format help

Perhaps a dumb question, but is the server date correct?

Re: IPCC D[now] format help

Server date is correct. However, it appears that the comparison is converting the short date time provided (i.e. 12/29/2008) to a long equivalent like 12/29/2008 00:00:00. I've seen this before in SQL server. I'm just not clear on why it has started occurring with CRS.
