Hi,

Assume there are two locations: site 1 and 2.

Site 1 has call manager, ipcc, and gateway. Site 2 has call manager and gateway.

Site 2 has call agents and pilot number for site 2 ipcc app is routed through site 2 gateway. (agents phones are registered to local call manger)

any negative in this setup compare to pilot number fore site 2 ipcc app route through site 1 gateway?

Thanks,

No unless you have more calls in queue at any time than being handled by agents at site two. The call must cross the WAN to site one where the CCX exists until it is answered by an agent. At that point the call is redirected to the agent phone at site two.

Note that you may experience higher intra-cluster communication traffic for UCM because CCX is performing CTI monitoring and control for phones registered to another UCM node.
