ipcc express agent extension

hey,

im setting up ipcc express for one of our customers. now everything was working fine (test environment), but i came in yesterday and im getting an error message on one of the phones. ive configured the one button login, and when i try to login, im getting "agent extension is in use" and i cant log in. i logged in with the client desktop and that worked fine. i also logged out of the desktop thinking it would get rid of the message but no luck. can anyone help.

things i did so far .... deleted the user, reassociated the phone, and resubscribed to one button login.

PS. First time configuring IPCC so im hoping this is something im probably just missing

Hi Arvind,

We had this same thing happen during our Lab testing when we had the same Agent extension # set up on more than one phone (7940 & 7960). This would work fine, but of course only on 1 at a time. If you tried to Login using the second phone while the first one was logged in you got the message "agent extension is in use". Can you go into the CCM and do

Device>Phone>Find and List Phones and check for the extension number in question. Just to make sure it isn't in use on another phone.
