I'm using CRS 4.0(4). We have HA servers and CallManager Sub and Pub on the west coast, and a call center on the east coast. The codec is G.729 across the WAN. The CRS installation was done using G.729. The customer is now saying they want the ability to monitor calls. Will this work using the current setup? Or is more information required to make a determination. During installation, when I checked G.729, I believe there was a message saying monitoring wasn't supported using G.729. However, the SRND states that monitoring is possible with either G.729 or G.711 RTP streams. Does anyone have a 'best practice' for this?
