Hi Pros,
With IPCC Express deployments, where does the mapping occur from the 1-800 number a customer dials, to the route point associated with the script? Which part of CallManager?
Thanks

The CTI Route Point is what matches your toll-free DNIS, the mapping is done by associating these RPs wth jtapi user. With IPCC Express 4.0 it is done automatically done for you when you create JTAPI Trigger in IPCC.

Thanks Chris.
I partially understand. Lets say our CTI Route Point is '5000'. The toll-free DNIS is 1-800-Go-Cisco. Do we need to inform the carrier to provide us with a DNIS of '5000' for 1-800 calls? Or do we specify that ourselves in the CTI Route Point creation?

You will need to ask the telco to send you specific digits 'xxxx' for your 800 number. Create a Translation Pattern 'xxxx' in CCM, set the 'Called Party Transform' mask to 5000 (your CTI RP). Make sure you select 'Route this pattern' & 'provide outside dial tone' while creating Translation Pattern.

Basically all toll-free number deliver DNIS, so all you need to do is make the CTI Route Point the same as the DNIS number (assuming both are the same number of digits), or like shayonasul said you can always add Translation Pattern, but do not provide the outside dial-tone.
You can also have many CTI RPs pointing to the same applications hence script. So if your people internally dial 5000 but you find out that the DNIS number is 1234, you can create another JTAPI trigger in IPCC and point to the same application, or you create a Translation pattern that translates 1234 to 5000.
