Is it possible to use IPCC Express as a queue/call distributor to a group of receptionists, and then use attendant console to actually transfer the call? So, would it be possible for them to run agent desktop and Attendant console at the same time accessing/controlling the same line?
Cisco CallManager Attendant Console allows you to set up Cisco IP phones as attendant consoles. Employing a graphical user interface (GUI), the Cisco CallManager Attendant Console uses speed-dial entries and quick directory access to look up phone numbers, monitor line status, and handle calls. A receptionist or administrative assistant uses Cisco CallManager Attendant Console to handle calls for a department or company, or another employee can use it to manage his/her own telephone calls.
The Cisco CallManager Attendant Console installs on a PC with IP connectivity to the Cisco CallManager system. The attendant console works with a Cisco IP phone that is registered to a Cisco CallManager system (one console for each phone that will be used as an attendant console). Multiple consoles can connect to a single Cisco CallManager system.
I don't know if you've tried it yet, but it seems to work fine.. i've done it using phone agent for having the receptionist access the queue -- so they log in/go ready on the phone when they want to take calls, log out when they don't. That way they don't need to have 2 programs running on the PC.
Attendant console software sees the calls & handles them just like any other line. drag & drop trensfer, etc.
I need to have the phone directory in Attendant Console show the agent lines...as of now it only shows the primary lines...is there a way to make this visible? Our agents need to see if other agents are already on the line before transferring the call.
Thanks for your response! I need the agents to see if other agents on other teams are available ....I didn't know that this was functionality of CAD....can you let me know where that is located in CAD?

The below trick might come handy when you have to add a new node to a cluster but you don't have or is unsure of the security password for the publisher. This procedure has been around for ages.
