IPCC Standard to Premium

My customer has IPCC Express 4.0(4) Standard and wants to go to Premium. The documentation seems to be conflicted on whether a re-install of IPCC is required to do this. Does anyone have experience with this?

Hi,

You have to reinstall IPCC Express and use the Premium licenses that you have.

All the configuration remains, but you need to reinstall.

Thanks for the info. When you say the configuration remains, is that due to the fact that the LDAP profile is re-used? Or is it an option of the installation process.

You have to reuse the LDAP profile after the reinstallation process.

Where can I find upgrade procedures for IPCC express 4.0 Standard to Premium? Also are there documentation for installing a historical servers?

The procedure to upgrade from Standard to Premium is reinstall the IPCC Express and use during the process the new licenses provided for the upgrade.

When you install Historical Server you must select during the installation only that component and provide the necessary license.
