IPCX 3.5: Password Recovery

I am going into a new integration between CUCM7.1(3b) and CCX7.0, however, the customer already is having an old CCM4.1 integrated with IPCX 3.5.

For sure, I should take the prompts and the scripts from the old one (IPCX3.5) and just upload it on the new one, plus I have to check the parameters used for the integration with the database.

The problem is that we are unable to access the server, we have that message "unauthorized", is there anyway to break the password without losing the configuration? the only thing we know is the name of the administrator, but If I change the password from the CCM, will it effect the running service?

Re: IPCX 3.5: Password Recovery

Hello ,

In this case you need access to the DC directory of the CUCM, once you are there go to:

Set the parameter to true, and you will be able to go and do setup process again. Default user is Administrator password ciscocisco

Thanks Walter for your response

I am away from the site now, but I think I opened this window, all what I see is the word directory the left pane, nothing else, no tree as well.

What will be the problem in his case?
