IPCX 3.5.x Monitoring and Recording....does it work!

Hi,

We have been trying to get the monitoring and recording feature to work on the IPCX for the past few months but in vain!

We have tried all compination, like ipcx and monitoring on dual ethernet server, ipcx and moniting on separate servers, with switches, with hubs etc.

Nothing....we only get 1kb empty files.

Has anyone implemented this on version 3.5.x and it works?

Ours is finally working. I would suggest calling TAC. There are several settings and configurations that have to be exactly correct or it will not work.

IPCCX only supports SPAN port/vlan for recording, did you configure it in Catalyst switch?
