IPIVR on G729 Setup - Urgent

Hi ,

My Setup is End to End G729codec .So, we have installed the new IPIVR in G729 Codec.

I am facing the problem while doing the Scripting. The Problem is whenever I use the step "Play Prompt" to play a Wave file.When I do the test calls,it is getting failed and plays the "System Error" Message.

I use the wavefile format CCITT u-Law, 8kHz, 8-bit, Mono 7 kb/sec.Can anybody help me on this?

Hi,

You have to use G.729 codec to record your messages. If you have Unity, you will have the codec to use it.

Now, you are using CCITT u-Law, wich is compatible with G.711. This is the cause of the System Error Message.

You have to record or convert your custom promts to G.729.
