master question in ipcc 4.x

In IPCC 4.x redundancy, there is a concept called master. what is the different between this and publisher? should I say:

1.in crs engine, master is the primary crs.

2.in database, publisher is the master.

Is this right? Thanks

Yes in CRS master is the primary one server.not neccesaarily publish is the master.
