Hi there,
I have a MCS-7825-I1-CC1 with UCCX 7.x installed (Windows 2003).. I could not find the serial number outside chassis...
Is there any way to check the serial number via Windows ?
Thanks.
Andrei.

You may find the script form Adrian helpful. He is using Windows Scripting Host (WSH) which is loaded on Windows 2003. The script should work on your system.

Hi
The other option is to access the 'HP System Management Homepage'. This is a web page served up by a HP service, it allows you to monitor all sorts of stuff about the server and the iLO card. I'm certain that can display the serial number...
Sometimes you find it's disabled - go into the service control panel, enable and start it. You log in by going to http://server-ip:2381/ and logging in using the local administrator and password.
There may also be a shortcut to it under Start/Programs.

Aaron
