Gents,
I have UCCE 10.5 with CVP 10.5 deployed comprehensive deployment model.
I was trying to test calls from CUCM CTI route point and I observed a very strange behaviour.
I noticed that calls were failing when I diall any of my dialled numbers from CUCM and after looking at the logs here is what I found
On router I see router generates the corID for the call
+++
01:23:52:458 ra-rtr Trace: (65546 x 0 : 0 0) NewCall: CID=(152133,117), DN=88000, ANI=+442038803154, CED=, RCID=5000, MRDID=1, CallAtVRU=0, OpCode=0.
01:23:52:459 ra-rtr Trace: (65546 x 8 : 0 0) TransferToVRU: Label=8991111000, CorID=8, VRUID=5000, RCID=5000.
+++
++ CUCM logs ++
When I looked at the CUCM logs, I do not see the corid, hence when CUCM sent the call to CVP, its treating the call as a "ICM New Call" instead of a correlation id routed call and the call fails subsequently
<< CUCM CTI logs ++ notice the corid is missing ( ignore timestamp, time on server is different>>

I then went back to PIM logs and I observed that the corid is missing from there as well.

Gents,
Is there something I am missing here :)
NB: That this doesnt happen when CVP is the routing client. I see the label + corid on the response back to CVP when a call request is sent to UCCE

Can you check if there is any Network VRU assigned to CUCM Routing client in PG explorer. I have seen this issue when a VRU is assigned to CUCM routing client.

I tend to agree. In the early days of CVP with the Type 5 and Type 7 NVRUs, you had to set the default NVRU (I can't recall which type you had to set it to but it was complicated); but I think when the Type 10 was created, the NVRU should be set on the CVP PG (Advanced tab) instead.
Perhaps you have a default NVRU set in the System Information page? Not quite sure if this is a problem.
I do know that these days we don't set a default NVRU on the System Info page. On the Advanced tab of the UCM PG there should be no NVRU set; on the CVP PG it should be set to the CVP NVRU; on the MR PG it should be set to the Media Routing NVRU.
Regards,
Geoff
