Hi,
We have a CM 4.1.3 and IPCC 3.5.3
With the IPCC we also have TTS and ASR licenses (3 TTS and 3 ASR)
I have the problem that the ASR service is OUT_OF_SERVICE. The TTS is working fine.
When I reboot the system or do a restart from the engine, i can see both services initializing.
After a while the TTS is IN_SERVICE and works fine, but the ASR goes after 2-3 minutes Initializing to OUT_OF_SERVICE.
these are the messages:

Weird thing is that TTS works.
CM, IPCC and Nuance TTS/ASR are co-installed.
Has anyone an idea why this happens?

If this is a new install of Nuance on either 3.5(2) or 3.5(3) you may be running into bug CSCsc96390. There is a hard coded license file that expires on 12/31/2005. Nuance ASR will initialize and then go out of service, however, TTS will stay in service.
You can quickly check this by setting the date of your IPCCx Server back to a date prior to 12/31/2005. If Nuance ASR goes in service then you will need to get the hotfix from Cisco TAC to correct this issue.

Thank you very much Dennis, this was exactly the problem.
I have downloaded the TAC fix and service is running.
Thanks again for your help,
JH
