Outbound Dialer - Logfile Tracing

We've been on Cisco's outbound dialer for about 2 years now, and I have spent hundreds of hours turning up tracing and gathering/collecting logs for Cisco TAC to review and troubleshoot issues.

I could answer questions much quicker if I knew how to interpret these logs myself.  Let's say you have a call that was made by the dialer (outbound campaign);  If I pulled all the dialer logs (ctisvr, ctios, pim, opc, jgw, rtr), how would one know where to look, and what to look for, to map the entire process of that call from beginning to end?

Does anyone have any advice, templates, or other notes of some type to help in this?
