PRI Failover in UCCE 9 SIP dialer

Can we achieve PRI failover in UCCE 9 SIP dialer in different voice gateways.

Call flow follows:

Logger --> SIP Dialer --> Router(Agent availability) --> CUSP --> 2 Voice gateways.

Description:

In the above call flow setup, we have 2 Voice gateways. Each voice gateway have 1 PRI.

Currently we are running only one campaign in this setup and PRI is configured in 1st Voice gateway.

If that PRI fails, How can we configure dialer calls to PRI in 2nd Voice gateway.

Thanks,

Alagu

Re: PRI Failover in UCCE 9 SIP dialer

Hello,

Basically, this is based on the SIP message you receive as Response for the CUSP's INVITE.

In CUSP under the Server Group you will have a list of Elements(IP address of Voice Gateway). You will also have a Failover Response Code. By default most of them use "503 Service Unavailble". If CUSP gets 503 Service Unavailble it should hunt for the next element in the Server Group. which will be your 2nd Voice Gateway with 1 PRI.

Valid Codes are (500 to 599) for failure response

But have you checked the Logs, What is the SIP response sent to the CUSP for the INVITE which is sent.

Senthil
