Primary Line versus ICD Line behavior - IPCCX 4.01SR1
I am trying to find doc on the normal behavior of ICD Ext.
For example, here's one scenario we were testing:
CAD Agent is on a call on primary line. While still on primary line, he goes into ready state on ICD line. We did a test call into the queue. He manually puts us on hold to answer the queue call and gets error "Agent Extension out of service" which I load a screen shot to the case. The queue call hears MOH since the agent cannot answer the call
On a 2nd test call, instead of manually putting us on hold, he answers the queue call, thereby allowing the phone to automatically puts the primary line on hold. The agent is successful in answering a queue call
Why the difference in behavior btwn manually putting a primary line on hold versus automatically putting a primary line on hold?
Also what are other behaviors of ICD line that is document on cco as to understand phone calls to primary line versus ICD lines.
