Hi all,
I have made an ICM upgrade, from version 6 to 7. All things works fine, except internet script editor.
When I try to connect I receive the error 'Cannot communicate with Web Server'.
Webview works fine, and all the process in the distributor seems to be right.
Thanks in advance for the help,
Juan Luis

When you click on the ICM Internet Script Editor
make sure under Connection, the right port is configured : 80 (Default). Be sure you can ping the server from your Host. Check also the ISEMAN process and the Eventviewer on your DAW for any Errors.

I would reinstall the Internet Script Editor on your PC. If you need to support multiple customers running different versions of ICM, you can choose to install the v7.x in a different folder on your PC. Otherwise, if you specify the same folder it will want to update/uninstall the previous version.
The install location should be:
http://"Your AW IP or Hostame"/install/iscripteditor.htm
Hope this helps.

Hi,
I am wondering if you are experiencing bug
CSCma27261 InternetScriptEditor login is not possible without connection button
Symptom:
When the user attempts to connect with user name and password, ISE
reports an error message that states in cannot connect to distributor.
If they click the Connection button before attempting to connect, it
works fine. The issue is with customers that connect through a proxy
server.
Conditions:
Using proxy server.
Workaround:
Click the Connection button before attempting to connect.
