Problem with Logger process (RCV)

Hello,

I have problem with Logger SiteA process. The environment include duplex site with ICM 4.6.2. Suddenly week ago the process at the logger crashed. I saw that the first process that terminated was the RCV process. After this process terminated twice all other Logger process was terminated.

I'm running again the setup at the Logger.

At the SQL error log I receive the following error:

"2006-01-01 12:08:14.40 kernel SQL Server Assertion: File: <scanrid.cpp>, line=315

Failed Assertion = 'm_len != 0'.

2006-01-01 12:08:14.40 spid28 Error: 3624, Severity: 20, State: 1.

2006-01-01 12:08:31.53 spid39 Using 'sqlimage.dll' version '4.0.5'

Dump thread - spid = 39, PSS = 0x3036f4d4, EC = 0x3036f684

Stack Dump being sent to D:\log\SQL04609.dmp"

What is the meaning of "m_len != 0"?

Any advice.

Thanks

Re: Problem with Logger process (RCV)

Obviously it is SQL server problem. Check if any Db in suspect, table corruption, etc.

Re: Problem with Logger process (RCV)

This is a internal SQL error and not a ICM issue.

This should help you. Taken from Microsoft.com knowledge site. Happens in both SQL 2k and SQL 7.0 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/274266/en-us

Bob
