Prompt caller for answer

Hi there,

I work for a small company that would like a caller to be given a set of options #1 for sales, #2 for technical support, then Prompt the user to enter in the state abbreviation. Is there a good way to do this with out entering in 50 different phone extentions?

Also is it possible to have more then one attendent console per callmanager config?

Re: Prompt caller for answer

You can sure do this with any ACD/IVR i.e. Cisco IPCC Express or Enterprise. The question is how do you want to do it? You want ptompt the user to enter first 2 letters of state? Or you want to play a prompt that asks for "Alaska press 1, ... for Wyoming press 50", that does not seem to efficient, does it? Perhaps implementing speech recognition IVR would make most sense? With IVR system you can do whatever you want, you just need the business requirements drawn down before you script it.

What IP Communications Systems do currently you have (Call Manager, ICM, IPIVR, etc.)?
