Prompts in IPCCX 4.0

I am trying to write a script that will prompt a caller for 3 digits. I then want to play a prompt for the corresponding digits that were entered. For example, our prompts are all 3 digits long. If the caller enters the digits "125" I want to play the prompt 125.wav. Anyone know how I can do this?

Thanks, Glenn

Re: Prompts in IPCCX 4.0

You can use Get Digit String to capture 3 digits. Assuming you place this in a string variable, e.g. strPromptDigits, then use the Play Prompt step, and using the IPCCX 4.0 Expression Editor, define the prompt as:

P[sPromptNumber + ".wav"]

You may need to manipulate the above to prepend a directory name.

Thanks for the reply. I'm a little confused. How do I get from the string variable strPromptDigits to sPromptNumber?

Thanks, Glenn

Sorry, they're supposed to be the same :) So, replace sPromptNumber with strPromptDigits.

I'm having trouble getting this to work. I cannot get the "value" of strPromptDigits to be used. Do I need to change this to an integer variable?

Thanks,

Glenn
