Recording and Monitoring with IPCC Express High Availability

Hi All,

IPCC X 4.0.4 with High Availability

We would like to have On Demand Recording available on our servers, what we have read on CCO is we need to have Recording and Monitoring option installed on Standby server.

My question here is if we install Recording and Monitoring component on Standby server and if standby goes down by anychance, will we be able to use this functionality? or wont we?

And correct me if i am wrong that we cannot install Recording and Monitoring components on Primary server(CRS Engine and Database). Standby server also have Database and CRS Engine)

Any help would be highly appreciated!

You can have one of the servers to be the master for specific services and the other one to be the master of other services. So you have one to be the Voip monitor server while the other one will be the slave server.
