Remote Agent Desktop Installation

Hi,

I have IPCC express 4.0(4) installed and working. I need to perform Agent Desktop installations at sites that have very low bandwitdh links. Is there any way to perform an offline installation or somehow place the installation files at the remote PC prior to installation?

The installation should be performed on-line. Off-line installation can lead to lot of problems.

Thanks, in that case I will have to define another way to have the installations done without using the slow WAN network. Maybe by creating an Agent PC Image or having the PCs installed at the IPCC Server LAN.

I didn't get any problem for off-line installtion, just download the CAD desktop from plug-ins URL, and copy to each station to installation.

Hi Wei, thanks for your reply.

If I download the plugin itself I only get a few MBytes. When I run it on the desktop it downloads an extra 40MB. This is what I want to prevent.

Sorry, IPCCX 4.0 is different. From old version or CAD in IPCC Enterprise, I could download the full package.

It is pain to install like this.
