Saving recorded calls in wav or mp3 format from IPCCX 4.05

We recently upgraded from IPCCX 3.53 to 4.05, and have found that our files are not being saved in .raw format instead of .wav format. Is there a way to configure the 4.05 system to auto save the files in .wav or .mp3 format so we don't have to use codec translator?

Thanks,

-Scott

Re: Saving recorded calls in wav or mp3 format from IPCCX 4.05

Here is one way to convert the files.

c:\progam files\cisco\desktop\bin\CRSRawtowav.exe

C:\Program Files\Cisco\Desktop\bin>crsraw2wav.exe

Usage: CRSRaw2Wav.exe filename

OPERATION:

-- takes a RAW file name as a parameter (filename)

-- finds the matching pair (if "test.from.raw" is passed the matching pair will

be "test.to.raw")

-- converts/merges the two into a WAV format file with the same base name ("test .from/to.raw" will

go into "test.wav")

-- if a WAV file with same name as the one that is about to be generated already

exists in the

destination directory then the conversion is not executed

ASSUMPTIONS:

-- the source directory is the current repository for recordings; if not found i

n the

registry this location is assumed to be "c:\program files\cisco\desktop_audio

";

-- the destination directory will be "..\desktop_wav" from the source directory)

Correction to my previous post...the files are "now" being saved in .raw format on our 4.05 server and we need them to be saved in .wav or .mp3.

Thanks I found the Cisco link with the details on this command and how to batch file script to auto convert about an hour ago.

Appreciate the response.
