I'd like to know how it's possible to make an action in a CRA script (in my case a WriteDocument) when the caller drops the call. I don't want to do this in the workflow at the DROPPED event because I don't want this action to occur when the call is redirected to another agent.
For example, when I call this number and if I go on hook, I want to do a WriteDocument, but I don't want to do this WriteDocument when the call is still in the queue and is redirected to an another agent.
I didn't find any detailed explanation of the select resource step on the CCO so if anybody can help, I'd really appreciate.
You can use the On Exception Goto step and use the ContactInactiveException exception and create label with logic of what you want to do. This way when a caller drops the call while in the script, this exception catch will be executed.
Thanks a lot for your answer. I'll try it tomorrow.
I will add this step in the queue loop. But can I add this step after the "Connected" step under the select resource step (to make this happen when the caller drop the call when an agent's phone is ringing)?
