SIP DIALER in UCCE 9.0

Hi All,

Can anyone explain Dial Plan configuration in SIP Dialer for Previrew and Preective.

In Predective:

I can see SIP Dialer sends INVITE to VG, after CPA analysis Dialer sends REFER MSG to VG connect to particular EXTN and Dialer Auto answer the transferred call thriough CTI SRV.

In Preview:

VG receives invite from CUCM and i checked in Dialer logs i couldn't see any invite, Later i blocked the translation pattern in CUCM which points towards VG and changed the agent state as Ready.

Immediatley i recieved NETWORK Error in CTI, Aftwr which i unblock the same calls dialled out sucessfully.

Please let me know for preview we need to maintain Dial-Plan in CUCM for SIP DIaler.

In Preview-Direct the phone call is placed from the agent's phone just like if they were dialing manually themselves, so yes you would maintain the dial plan in UCM.

Why will VG receive invite from CUCM. And CUCM is only used when the call need to be transfered to agent (VG to CUCM). For SIP dialer CUCM does not play any role. Moreover the configuration for preview and predective are almost same (except the campaign and admin script).

You are probably running in Preview-Direct mode, in which the agent's phone is actually placing the outbound call. This is usually the preferred Preview mode since the agent can hear the call progress. You can also switch to regular Preview in which the dialer itself places the call.

Yes, You are right let me change the dialing mode and check.

So you mean to say for Preview-Direct mode we need to maintain Dial-Plan in CUCM to dial out the calls without that call will not dial out.

Bec i tried to Block the pattern, Calls are not dialing out.

I tried with Preview, Where VG getting INVITE from SIP Dialer.

Please let me know for Preview Direct we should maintain Dial plan in CUCM.

Yes, for Preview-Direct you MUST maintain a Dial plan in CUCM.

Thanks for your Information.

Also i tired enabling CPA with below commands in G/W, After enabling all commands after which i checked with sh run i couldn't find cap related commands.

How do i verify cpa is enabled propely in my VG.

voice service voip

cpa

cpa timing silent 375

cpa timing live−person 2500

cpa timing timeout 3000

cpa timing noise−period 100

cpa timing valid−speech 112

cpa timing term−tone 15000

cpa threshold noise−level max −50dBm0

cpa threshold noise−level min −60dBm0

cpa threshold active−signal 15db
