I am looking to create a script that will make an outbound call and play a prompt for a listing of numbers for a reminder of an event that the person we are calling has requested using UCCX v8. Is it possible to start an application without calling it or schedule an applicaton to run at a certain time or day of week? I am thinking possibly emailing the applicaton, but don't knwo if this feature is even supported. Anyone have any ideas?
You cannot email the script, but you can assign it an HTTP trigger, then use that as your...well...trigger. This requires premium licensing, and is not a new feature.
