Tomcat Directory

Hi,

Some time ago I had a weird problem. An application I wrote used XML to get some data. Normally you put this XML file in the C:\Program Files\wfavvid\tomcat\webapps\ROOT directory. But it didn't work.

After a long search and trying I found the directory: C:\Program Files\wfavvid\Documents\user\default\webapps\ROOT.

When I put my XML file here all worked fine.

I had to reinstall this IPCC server and after the reinstall (version 4.0.4) the normal directory worked. The original version was 4.0.1.

Now I have another case using version 4.5 and I have the same issue again. The normal directory doesn't work and I have to use the other directory.

When I do: http://<ip-address>:8080 on a good machine I see:

On the wrong machine I get something like TOMCAT directory listing.

Any idea? And is this alternative directory stable? And why???

Thanks,

JH

Re: Tomcat Directory

You should be using the document repository for this.

You will be loosing access to the local file system in UCCX 8 when it transitions to a Linux appliance anyways...
