UCCE 11.5 to 11.5 EDMT Migration

Hello all,

My customer has a prod and pre-prod system. The Prod has been setup and the Pre-prod is supposed to be a replica of the Prod system. Because my systems have different names, IPs, and instance numbers, a simple export/import is out of the question.

Can I use EDMT to migrate from a version 11.5 to a version 11.5? I am having trouble finding decent documentation on the EDMT tool to answer this question.

No, you cannot. When EDMT runs, it queries the Version table, and it's expecting, at the very least, the value populated in the Major column to be lower than what its expected to update the database to.
