CUSP: 8.5.2

VG IOS: 15.2.4 on 3925

Thanks,

Re: UCCE 9.0 How to use Campaign Prefix in SIP Dialer

For the SIP Dialer, this field represents the phone number that is advertised as the calling number for the campaign.

You can set that in the Campaign General Tab in the Dial Setting. Please see the below Screenshot

When the SIP Invite is Sent to CUSP/Gateway this will be added in the Remote-Party-ID Header.

You cannot use this Prefix for routing the call to specific PRI

Re: UCCE 9.0 How to use Campaign Prefix in SIP Dialer

Hi Senthil - If i use Dialer Pefix and Campaign Pefix which one will be given priority or both Prefix will be added

phone number that is advertised as the calling number for the campaign.

If i use Dialer Prefix alone it will be common for all the campaign right?

Why we cannot use this Prefix for routing the call to specific PRI - Anyhow prefix will be added

phone number that is advertised as the calling number for the campaign, We can use Dial-Peer which matches Pefix and we can use particular PRI Port to route the call right?

For Ex:

destination-pattern 4444T

Port --> Specific PRI

Re: UCCE 9.0 How to use Campaign Prefix in SIP Dialer

The Dialer Prefix is for the Whole Dialer not for specific Capaigns.

In SIP dialer Deployments, the Campaign Prefix will be used as a ANI when customer receives a Call.

At this point of time what strikes in my mind is, how about using the Gateway's  Dial-peer (Answer Address instead of Incoming Called Number). Can you try this and see how it works

1) In the Incoming Dial-peer use the Answer Address as the ANI(Calling Number) to match,

2) Invoke a Translation Rule and Add the Prefix you want to add before the Called number

3) Now you can create Outgoing Dial-peers based on the new Translated Called Number and send the call to the respective PRI

Senthil
