UCCE Supervisor Setup

Can anyone explain why you need to enter the user's AD password in order to make them a supervisor? Have a customer whose UCCE Administrators don't want to have to ask users for their AD password just to promote them to UCCE supervisors. Since they have to login manually to the supervisor desktop anyway when opening it, I don't see why you need to fill this in just to make them a supervisor.

You can browse for them without needing their password. The AD password allows access to agent reskilling and webview report.

Supervisors can log into the Dynamic Reskilling website using their agent ID and password, so they don't really the login / password for that. One less thing to remember.

The WebView user created in the promotion process has access to a very limited set of reports (Team based). If you don't use this fro WebView access, then you really don't need the login / password.

In summary, you may not need these credentials and may not need to tell Supervisors.

Geoff
