UCCX 4.0.5 upgrade to 7.0.1 license problem

I need to upgrade a current UCCX 4.0.5 to ver 7.0.1and ordered a CCX upgrade license from 4.x to 7.0

Normally the DMT tools is used to convert the 4.0.5 license to the new 7.x license.

However, the DMT restore on the new UCCX 7.0.1 can only be used when the callmanager IP address is kept the same.

The callmanagers are already upgraded to ver. 7.1.3b but with a new IP address.

So I would like to do a fresh configuration of the UCCX server but when I try to upload the licenses it tells me that the license for Cisco Unified CCX Standard Seat is not a valid addition for the package None and therefore it will be ignored

I tried to zip the old 4.0.5 and new CCX UPG 7.0 license together and upload this to the server but it does not work.

Does anybody has an idea how I could proceed ?

I have an idea, tell your callmanager person to change the ip address back, finish your upgrade, then have them change the ccm ip back again.  You will of course need to point to their new ip once you're upgraded.
