Does UCCX 8.0 record the voice calls for the IP phones ?

Hi,
Yes, it does.
There are many ways of achieving it.
1. In built UCCX recording: CAD \CSD \ CDA workflows, IPPA recording (SPAN Based)
2. QM\AQM based recording for all the calls in the UCCX contact center.

Someone told me that It's not supported by Cisco TAC and in the installation, configuration, and design guides it is stated that UCCX is not intended to be a full time recording product and should not be used as such. We will likely see poor audio on the recordings, errors in the audio files, and mismatched audio.
Is that true?

Hi,
There is a limit in the size allocated for the recording purposes if you use only UCCX. Therse is no prolem with the recording inbuild feature of UCCX. and it is supported. Again there are limits interms of no of sessions supported on specific hardwares, licensing...etc
