Were undertaking an upgrade of our UCCX 8.5.1 SU3 HA cluster to 9.0.2 SU1. We have 100 IVR ports and 86 Enhanced Agents. Once we get to 9.0.2 SU1 we will be upgrading our agents from enhanced to premium as we want to use web chat and integrate with Social Miner. I've uploaded the cop file to both server to notify the upgrade that it is a refresh upgrade.
I run the upgrade using the 9.0.2SU1 download from CCO and this completes after around an hour on each node, dropping back to 8.5.1SU3 once it is complete. I then switch versions on the primary which completes OK and wait for the services to start. I then do the same on the secondary and everything comes up good. I have the UCCX 8.5 ENH HA to UCCX 9.0 ENH HA and the UCCX 8.5 ENC to UCCX 9.0 ENC PAK keys registered and attempt to upload the zip files I received from Cisco but get an error stating I need to upload a Premium HA license.
Now at this point I've not applied the agent upgrade license file so assuming the ISO I have is a Premium upgrade rather than enhanced. Is this possible?
I continue to install the UCCX 9.0 ENH HA to UCCX 9.0 PRE HA license I have and it accepts that OK. I try to upload the UCCX 9.0 ENH AGENT to UCCX 9.0 PRE AGENT license file and it warns me this is a duplicate license (but I haven't attempted to install this previously). On checking the license detail from the web admin post upgrade I can see that I'm running UCCX PRE and have HA, but I don't see any agents or IVR Ports. Here are details of the 9.0 license page and the 8.5 license page.
Current License MAC of the node: MY_NODE_MAC_ADDRESS
I understood from a couple of articles that IVR ports are licensed differently on PRE than they are on STD and ENH, with the latter you have to buy them and have the correct hardware configured. For PRE I believe that you get 2 IVR ports per agent license up to a maximum of 400 IVR Ports, and again this is dependant on hardware configuration. I'am I missing something here as part of the upgrade process, such as a license file?
I have 4 license files:
UCCX 8.5 ENH to UCCX 9.0 ENH
UCCX 8.5 ENH HA to UCCX 9.0 ENH HA
UCCX 9.0 ENH AGENT to UCCX 9.0 PRE AGENT (86 Agents)
Thanks for the response. The system was upgraded to 8.5 but from version 5.x running on a windows platform. No other upgrades have been applied as SU3 was installed as part if the initial 8.5 build.

The below trick might come handy when you have to add a new node to a cluster but you don't have or is unsure of the security password for the publisher. This procedure has been around for ages.
1) Login into the CLI of the Publisher.
