We are about to upgrade an HA cluster from UCCX 8.5 (original release) to 8.5 SU4 (latest SU). We run on IBM x3650-M2 (equivalent MCS-7835-I3-IPC2). I'm trying to plan how long this will take us. I realize being HA we'll only have an outage of CAD as we begin work on node#2 (and before we upgrade clients). But I'm trying to plan our entire timeframe.
From previous experience I was estimating around 4 hours. That's from the first step of installing the software, through the last step of running Client Configuration Tool (not including desktop upgrades). I'll plan around 6 for safety, but hope for 4. Does this sound right?
I realize my mileage may vary based on the database and other factors. Just looking for a ballpark.
