UCCX - How can I recover admin's password

Hello Guys,

I want to know how can i recover or change the UCCX admin's password, because I was using the Call Manager account to access the UCCX, but the CM crashed, so i tried to access the UCCX using the UCCX account, but with no success. The UCCX didn't find the first account that I configured on the UCCX installation.

So I need to know how can I recover or change the UCCX admin's password to access the UCCX again?

If its a UCCX 8.x box you will require root password for CET tool - This requires a  TAC case.

If its 7.x or below on the server through cmd prompt - type in CET - bring up the object editor - select "com.cisco.crs.cluster.config.AppadminSetupConfig - in right hand side select the row go to second tab and change the "setup state" to "FRESH_INSTALL" from drop down menu.

Login into Appadmin with the user "Administrator" "ciscocisco"
