UCCX IVR script to play 2 different MOH on Re-direct Transfer

Hi Guys,

The is for an Autoattendant script.

I have the question from client to prepare the script that will play 2 differnt MOH after  Menu selection.

The Script call flow is

1. Incoming call from PSTN to Pilot no.

2. Welcome message with Selection option 1 for Local language & 2 for English.

3. Under Local language Menu there a differnt Prompt & sub menus options

4. When the call is transfered to sub menu call re-direct No it should play MOH in the local language.

If the users selects 2 for English

then under sub menu after call -redirect option to Extn it should play English MOH.

The MOH is played from CCM CTI ports now.

How do i play different MOH for 2 different menus.

DO you guys have different thinking to make this work.

Hi,

You could define three applications

  1. Language choice
  2. Local Language
  3. English Language

and use different CTI ports for 2 and 3 with different MoH sources.

You would call 2 and 3 from 1 using the Trigger Application step.

Should work although I must admit I have not tried this myself.

James' method is the preferred one if you are on 7.0(1)SR5 or later. Prior to that the Trigger Application step in synchronous mode had a nasty JTAPI defect on it CSCtd72562.

If you have not cleared that defect, you would need to do a Call Redirect between the CCX application triggers.
