I find myself once again frustrated by something that seems like it should be very simple.
When UCCX (all versions I have tried) gets a call, I can get the Calling Number, but for the Called Number, I can also get the Original Called Number.
I need to get the ORIGINAL CALLING NUMBER. I can find no way to do this, but I know it's there because the data appears when the call shows up on the agent's CAD display in a field (appropriately titled) Original Calling #.
Has anyone found a way to get this information out to use the data in a script?
TIA

In the "get call contact info" step simply set the "calling number" which will get you the original ANI of wherever the call was made from, i.e. PSTN caller.

Actually, that's not what we are seeing.
CAD shows Calling number and Original Calling Number.
What we get from the get call contact info step is the same as what CAD shows for the "Calling Number", not the Original Calling Number.
