I have a UCCX which needs to do a database get commend, to obtain information and put it in a script. Is there a design constraint of where the datbase can be located, we need to locate the databse in a remote location - what issues, RTD etc
thanks

No constraints, anywhere on the network.

Hi Chris
thanks for getting back. Our SIi seems to suggest there is an limit. The idea being we wish to locate a SQL db which we will use to store the agent id`s which are used to populate a script depending on what number a customer calls. Since the script being used is the same but the agents can be different depending on what number they called in on t, so instead of having lots of scripts we have a single one with the db inserting the different agents in to a single script. We wish to house the db in a remote location - any issues , RTD etc

There is no documented limit as Chris stated. In practicality you'll want to keep an eye on the round-trip delay as the SQL query happens synchronously in the script. In other words, the caller hears silence until it completes or times out.
