Unresponsive button and on Cisco ActiveX (CtiOs 8.5)

Hello,

we use CTIOS 8.5 and  we developed a CTI bar  based on “CTI Toolkit AgentDesktop” sample (Win32 CIL)

So our VB.Net CTI bar uses the Cisco ActiveX (Dialer, StatusBar, MakeCall, AnswerCtl...).

This CTI Bar is launched from an ActiveX placed in our web application.

We have implemented interface between our web application and the CTI Bar.

The agent’s login is controlled by the web application.

Everything worked fine the first few months but for some time ActiveX buttons are sometimes unresponsive or do not correctly update their status.

For example, if the dialer is used to call a number it happens that the hang-up button is disabled. Sometimes on incoming call the pick-up button remain disabled and Agent status is blocked on “Reserved”.

Another problem is that sometimes the CTI Bar switch to “Offline" status without reasons. (Sometimes several CTI Bar switch to “Offline" at the same time !)

We have not changed anything on the client side nor server side.

As we encounter the problems using only ActiveX it seems that our developments are not involved.

ActiveX are independent and we do not see how to diagnose and solve these problems.

Nothing strange in ctios logs on the user side.

When we use “Agent Desktop” it seems that all work fine.

Do you have any suggestions to help us?

We need some directions on where to investigate or some test cases that could show there is an error somewhere.
