Update CRM via HTTP POST message

Hi Pros!

We are looking to integrate CCX 7.0 Premium with a CRM. The requirement is that the CRM vendor will get the "agentID" "CallingNumber" & "CreditCardNumber(collected digits)" from the CCX and open the CRM client application on agent machine when call is being handed over to agent.

Note: The CRM client is not web based hence opening a page in CAD integrated browser is not possible. Hence they are requesting to send these details via a "HTTP POST" message to the CRM server which runs a web service. (They will provide the URL)

What I have seen in the CDA guide is that the workflow can be configured with "GET" and "POST" method to display CRM content in CAD integrated browser, but not sure if the workflow can be used for just "POST"ing collected data to web server when agent is handed the call?

The exact flow will be as below:

1) IVR collects collected digits & selects agent to handover call

2) When agent phone starts ringing, the CCX workflow somehow do a HTTP POST to share the collected digits, ANI & agentID to web server using configured URL.

3) CRM server behind the scene pushes this data and opens up the customer record on the agent receving the call.
