Upgrade from 4.0(3) to 4.0(5)

Can the file listed on Cisco website (ccrs-4-0-5-sr2-044(2).tar) be used to upgrade or does this require a CD?

You will require the media (CD) - that file is a SR2 which can be installed over the 4.0(5) system.

I will be doing a similar upgrade soon. Will the existing licenses on 4.0(3) work for 4.0(5) ? Or will new ones be required?
