Upgrade from CCX 8.5(1)SU1 to SU3 w/ Quality Manager - License Question

Will I need to do anything with licensing if upgrading CCX from 8.5(1)SU1 to 8.5(1)SU3? We have Premium Package with 25 Premium seats, with 50 IVR ports, High Availability enabled, 10 CCX Quality Manager License and 6 QM Compliance Recording seats.

I'm pretty confident I won't need to do anything with the CCX specific licenses but am a bit unsure about the QM licenses?

And lastly, if I don't need to worry about licensing at all, and am able to download the image from cisco, is there any other reason to run this upgrade through PUT?

Upgrade from CCX 8.5(1)SU1 to SU3 w/ Quality Manager - License Q

Hi Joshua,

•Current feature lines/counts from your Cisco UCCX 8.x license automatically carry forward to Cisco UCCX 8.5(1)SU3.

•All of the features enabled in your Cisco UCCX 8.x license will continue to work with Cisco UCCX 8.5(1) SU3.

•No additional license is needed unless it is a new requirement.

•To enable the license, you can upgrade to Cisco UCCX 8.5(1) SU3 from any version of Cisco UCCX 8.0 (8.0(x) base, or any of its SU versions).

•If adding a new feature line, you must contact your Cisco channel partner to either upgrade the package, increase the seat count, or increase the port count in your existing license.

Please refer the below Release Notes for Cisco Unified CCX and Cisco Unified IP IVR Release 8.5(1) SU3,

As its a direct minor upgrade, you don't need any backup and restore activity through PUT...etc.
