upgrade from IPCC 4.0(5) to ccx 5

I have a running enviroment that consists of a ccm 4.1(3) cluster and an IPCC 4.0(5) cluster in a 4 server HA model deployment. I'm going to upgrade to UCM 6 so i need to upgrade the IPCC as well to UCCX 5.

My question:

how can this be done without any loss in configuration on the IPCC? as i have read that there is no direct upgrade path from IPCC 4.0 to UCCX 5.

You need to export all files including scripts/docuemnts/prompts and take screen shots of all configuration. There is no way around it.

chris,

This is very bad as this cluster is running a 24*7 call center. what is the best way to handle this u think?

Get new hardware in place and do this in parallel.

When you request the media for upgrade through PUT Cisco ships a new PAK for UCCX 5.0, simply register this PAK and you'll have your new license.
